Modern Clay has received a grant from HS2’s Community Environment Fund (CEF). The CEF fund has been created by HS2 to add benefit to communities along the route that are demonstrably disrupted by the construction of Phase One of HS2 from London to West Midlands.
As a co-operative, we applied for this funding to enable us to engage with our local community in a meaningful way. We are passionate about sharing the wellbeing benefits of working with clay, and this funding will allow us to work with the public and charity partners, exploring our three priorities: artists, education and outreach.
